About the role

This is a full-time opportunity for an experienced Automotive Spray Painter to join the team at HM Malaga Smash Repairs in Malaga, WA 6090. As a key member of the automotive bodywork team, you will be responsible for the high-quality spray painting of repaired vehicles, ensuring a flawless finish that meets industry standards.

What you'll be doing

Prepare vehicle surfaces for spray painting, including sanding, masking, and priming

Mix and apply paint coatings to vehicle panels and parts, ensuring an even, high-quality finish

Perform spot repairs, blending, and colour matching to restore vehicles to their original condition

Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols

Collaborate with the wider bodywork team to ensure efficient and effective repair processes

What we're looking for

Minimum 3 years' experience as an Automotive Spray Painter, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results

Strong technical skills in spray painting techniques, colour matching, and the use of automotive paint products

A keen eye for colour and design, with the ability to achieve a flawless, professional finish

Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work with a high degree of accuracy

Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines

Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team

A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
