Qualifications & experience

• Certificate III in Automotive Refinishing Technology or equivalent
• 5 Years or more Experience as a Qualified Spray painter
• Hight attention to detail
• Team player
• Eager to Learn
• Effective communication
• Good problem solving skills

Tasks & responsibilities

• Examining and cleaning repaired bodywork
• Preparation of Painting, from primer, sealing, masking, mixing colours with up-to-date computer mixing Using Spectro
• Paint application using all methods. Metallic, Solids, COB, 3Layer pearls, 4Layer pearls and all emerging future methods with training
• All Paintwork must be done in Downdraft Spray booths
• Responsible for material and minor maintenance
• Achieving a high rate of productivity
• Being responsible for ensuring work is carried out to a high standard of quality
• Maintain work area and equipment used in a clean and orderly condition
