About the Opportunity
As the Manager - Workplace Rehabilitation, you will be responsible for leading and enabling the Workplace Rehabilitation Unit to drive continuous improvement of Murrumbidgee Local Health District’s (MLHD) injury management framework. In this role, you will develop and implement policies, procedures, and initiatives in collaboration with leaders across the District to ensure compliance and support strategic goals.
As the Manager - Workplace Rehabilitation you will be responsible for:
- Lead and manage the Workplace Rehabilitation Unit to meet service delivery targets whilst ensuring compliance, consistency and best practice in workers compensation and injury management
- Driving continuous improvement of the Workplace Rehabilitation and Injury Management Framework, promoting early and sustainable recovery at work
- Monitor injury management and workers compensation performance to support return-to-work outcomes and financial goals
- Sourcing innovative ways to reduce claims and premiums

About You
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Tertiary Qualified in relevant area with previous experience in Injury Management or Workers Compensation
- Demonstrated leadership skills and experience, empowering and supporting teams
- Working knowledge of regulations and requirements relating to Workers Compensation Insurance and Injury Management
- Willingness to travel as necessary across our District
