WHO WE ARE

Ache Group is seeking an experienced and motivated Return to Work (RTW) Coordinator to join our growing Occupational Rehabilitaion & Injury Management team in New South Wales. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting our clients' injured workers on their journey back to meaningful employment while working alongside a dynamic team of Allied Health professionals, including Occupational Therapists, Exercise Physiologists, Rehabilitation Counsellors, and Physiotherapists.

We take a holistic and personalised approach to injury management, ensuring the well-being of workers while supporting employers with tailored RTW strategies. As an RTW Coordinator, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact by coordinating and implementing effective return-to-work plans that promote recovery and productivity.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate and implement tailored Return to Work (RTW) plans, ensuring injured employees transition back to work safely and efficiently.

Liaise with injured workers, employers, insurance brokers, treating medical professionals, and the nominal insurers to facilitate the RTW process.

Provide expert guidance on workplace modifications, injury management strategies, and early intervention practices.

Monitor and review workers' recovery progress, making adjustments to RTW plans as necessary.

Educate and support employers on best practices for injury prevention and workplace rehabilitation.

Ensure compliance with workers’ compensation legislation and employer obligations.

Maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including insurers, medical professionals, and workplace managers.

Prepare detailed case reports and documentation to support claim management and decision-making.

Participate in case conferences, workplace assessments, and injury management meetings to drive positive outcomes.

Who We're Looking For:

Experience in Return to Work Coordination, Workplace Rehabilitation, Clinical Injury Rehabilitation or Injury Management.

Strong knowledge of workers’ compensation legislation and RTW processes preferred.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and case management skills.

The ability to build strong relationships with workers, employers, and medical professionals.

A proactive and problem-solving mindset with a passion for supporting people through their recovery.

Qualifications & Experience:

Previous experience in a similar role

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate a team

Demonstrated ability to manage and oversee injury management and clinical treatment services

Experience in negotiating and developing RTW plans, with a focus on driving positive outcomes

Excellent written and presentation skills

Experience in claims management and working with key stakeholders
