About the role

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Seafood Retailer to join our team at our store in Mountain Creek, QLD. This is a casual position, offering flexible working hours (18-21h) NO PUBLIC HOLIDAYS to suit your lifestyle. As a Seafood Retailer, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring our high-quality seafood products are presented to the highest standard.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and assisting customers, answering queries, and providing recommendations on seafood products

Maintaining the seafood display case, ensuring products are fresh, well-stocked, and attractively presented

Assisting with the preparation and packaging of seafood orders

Handling cash and operating the point-of-sale system

Adhering to all health, safety, and hygiene standards

Contributing to a positive and collaborative team environment

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a retail or customer service role, preferably in the food or hospitality industry

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation

A keen interest in seafood and a willingness to learn about different seafood varieties and preparations

Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
