Join the Cays Engineering Mining Team in Mandurah and play a key role in supporting the refurbishment and fabrication of heavy mining and fixed plant equipment. We’re looking for a reliable and organised Yard / Stores Person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings strong forklift and dogging/rigging experience to the table.

Key Responsibilities:

Picking and packing steel and components for fabrication packs

Managing and organising stock, and materials in the yard and stores area

Assisting with the loading and unloading of fixed plant equipment using forklifts and overhead cranes

Maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring components are ready for refurbishment projects

Supporting workshop and project teams as required

Upholding site safety standards and housekeeping practices

Requirements:

Proven experience in a yard or stores environment, ideally in mining or heavy industry

Valid Forklift Licence – Essential

Dogging and Rigging Experience – Essential

Competence in operating an overhead crane (ticket desirable)

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work packs and instructions

Physically fit and comfortable working in an industrial environment

A team player with a safety-first attitude
