The Opportunity:

Our client is a global leader within the Mining and Resources industry across Australia and beyond.

We are seeking 4 x Lab Technicians to work at their Bundoora facility, to conduct testing on precious metals such as Copper & Gold.

Previous experience working in a lab environment testing metals using acids, pH & Eh measurements.
These roles will go for between 6-12 months, Monday to Friday 38hrs per week.

The Requirements:

• Tertiary qualifications Chemistry, Engineering or Certs III or IV equivalent in science, chemistry or technician
• Previous experience testing precious metals in a lab environment highly advantageous
• Collection and submission of samples for analysis
• Recording data, must high attention to detail and good with numbers
• Decommissioning tests, including filtering, washing and collecting solid samples
• Keep neat, tidy, constant cleaning up of the lab. and equipment to avoid cross-contamination
• This work is repetitive by nature, so you should be prepared to complete the same taks each day
• Must be available for a least a 6-month period if not longer and have working rights in Australia
