We consult to makers and sellers to help them understand the world of their consumer and identify new opportunities. We are involved in all aspects of FMCG & retail research, and love understanding brands, people, decision making and experiences.

We’re looking for a self-driven qualitative consultant, and we can offer a flexible and collaborative work environment at our South Melbourne office with in-house focus group rooms. We also one of Australia's only consultancies to offer a 4-day work week at full time pay.

We are particularly interested in candidates who:

Are self-driven and passionate about the industry (FMCG, retail, and research)

Have an entrepreneurial spirit

Can solve tough research problems and bring new ideas and approaches to the table

Value continuous improvement and challenging the status quo

Passionate about deep qualitative analysis & writing

Are agile and enjoy problem solving

And there are a few mandatories:

A strong academic background in a related field and client-facing experience

At least 2-3 years work experience in research with the ability to independently run research projects from taking the brief, to presenting back, and everything in between

Experience moderating IDIs, focus groups, and online qualitative work

Strong project management skills and experience balancing workflow, client demands, and external suppliers

Ability to adapt quickly in a flexible, fast-paced environment

Great visual and verbal communicators (you should be an excellent presenter or have the people skills to become one)

Salary negotiable based on experience.
