A unique opportunity has come up for a pelvic health physio to join our small, supportive and experienced team at Sunrise Pelvic Physiotherapy.
We are a small, independent, caring business, based in a great clinical space in Newtown. We aim to provide an excellent level of trauma-informed pelvic health care in a safe and welcoming space.
We see mainly women’s pelvic health clients, with a large focus on pregnancy and postnatal care, sexual and chronic pelvic pain with some musculoskeletal and rehab clients. Your caseload will be primarily women’s pelvic health.

We understand the nature of the work cannot be rushed, and appointment times are longer, and you can choose your follow up appointment time length
Time allocated between each client for notes and admin catch up
Generous remuneration is offered according to experience, as well as a substantial CPD allowance
The Role
We are looking for someone to join the team 3-4 days a week to start with with opportunity to expand to full time later. You must be able to work a Tuesday and Wednesday.
Flexible - suited to an experienced physio who can hit the ground running, or for someone who has had a few years experience but would still like mentoring and support (you must have already had some clinical experience with pelvic health clients, consults and internal exams)
We are looking for a practitioner who is empathetic and caring with excellent communication and time management skills, who is keen to work as part of a small friendly close-knit team
You must be able to see clients independently and manage your own caseload (but will have support)
Essential Criteria
Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent)
Training in Women’s Health Physiotherapy (APA, Post Graduate Studies, or WHTA courses) and clinical experience with pelvic health consults and internal exams
Minimum 2 years experience in private practice (musculoskeletal or pelvic health)
Someone who is able to work autonomously but also as part of a close-knit team
Excellent time management and communication skills
Confident with exercise prescription
Demonstrated ongoing commitment to CPD requirements
Professional Indemnity Insurance
AHPRA Registration
First Aid and CPR requirements up to date
Must be an Australian Citizen or be a Permanent Resident
Preferred Criteria
Musculoskeletal experience
