The Role:

As a Senior Accountant, you’ll take ownership of client work, build strong relationships, and provide a mix of compliance and advisory support. You’ll also have the chance to mentor junior staff and work on strategic projects that go beyond the numbers.

Prepare and review financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, and compliance work for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals

Assist in delivering tax planning, structuring, and other value-add advisory services

Liaise directly with clients, building long-term relationships and proactively identifying opportunities

Mentor junior team members and review their work

Collaborate with Managers and Partners to deliver high-quality outcomes

Stay across the latest in tax law, compliance updates, and accounting tech

About You:

CA/CPA qualified or working towards it

4+ years of business services/tax experience in a public practice firm

Strong understanding of Australian tax and accounting standards

Proficient in Xero, MYOB, and cloud-based systems

Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills

A proactive, curious mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
