My client, a leading name in Electrical Integration, are looking for a driven and experienced Senior Integration Specialist to join their Melbourne-based team. In this role, you’ll work closely with clients, colleagues, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to an industry leading standard.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement lighting control, energy monitoring, managed network, and other automation solutions.
  
  
• Oversee project delivery from concept to commissioning.
  
  
• Collaborate with project teams and clients to deliver tailored solutions.
  
  
• Provide onsite programming and commissioning of automation systems.
  
  
• Prepare relevant documentation, including O&M's, functional descriptions, and test documents.
  
  

To be successful, you’ll bring:

• Minimum 5 years’ hands-on experience with one or more lighting control systems: C-Bus, Dynalite, KNX, or Zen Control.
  
  
• Proficiency in system design, product selection, advanced programming, and fault-finding (both physical and software-related).
  
  
• Ability to diagnose wiring or system faults and communicate fixes to electricians.
  
  
• A working knowledge of basic IP networking.
  
  
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a team and work independently.
  
  
• A strong work ethic and the ability to engage confidently with project stakeholders.
  
  
• A willingness to mentor and train junior technicians.
  
  

Desirable:

• Creating technical documentation and drawings for automation systems.
  
  
• Use of Bluebeam Revu.
  
  
• Familiarity with design software (AutoCAD or MS Visio).
  
  
• Experience with Modbus-based energy metering systems, such as Schneider PME.
  
  

What a typical day looks like:

• Reviewing and interpreting electrical drawings and specifications.
  
  
• Collaborating with clients to develop cost-effective and functional automation solutions.
  
  
• Preparing lighting control databases and single-line diagrams.
  
  
• Coordinating procurement and delivery of control equipment.
  
  
• Performing onsite setup, programming, and commissioning.
  
  
• Responding to lighting control maintenance issues as needed.
