Senior Software Engineer
Strong C++ & C#
Hybrid - 2 days WFH
$150k to $160k base + super

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and maintaining software applications using C++ and C#. You will collaborate with a team of skilled professionals to deliver high-quality solutions in the fintech industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop C++ applications to process various transaction types on payment gateways.
• Build C# applications for terminal configuration and software management.
• Implement encryption/decryption systems and message formatting for financial messaging protocols (e.g., ISO8583).
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Collaborate with the team to identify software requirements and develop project plans.
• Troubleshoot, debug and optimize software applications.
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure software quality and functionality.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in software development using C++.
• At least 3 years of experience in software development using C#
• Experience with object-oriented programming (OOP) concepts, data structures, and algorithms, ideally within the payments or fintech industry.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and/or experience with Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of databases and tools such as SQL Server.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with Linux or Unix-based operating systems.
