We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established, Australian-owned manufacturing company with operations across the country.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accounts Receivable Officer to fulfill a Maternity Leave, Fixed Term Contract for 10 months. They are seeking someone who has a natural flare for customer service, someone who is collaborative with peers and a keen interest to take on an end to end AR role.

You’ll be part of a collaborative finance team and play a critical role in managing incoming payments across a large and diverse customer base. Reporting directly to the CFO, this is a great opportunity to take ownership of the AR function while enjoying a culture that values family, innovation, and ethical business practices.

The Role

• 10 Month Fixed Term Contract, Maternity Leave Cover
• Standalone role
• Managing accounts receivable for 300+ customers
• Allocating incoming payments daily and accurately
• Maintaining and reconciling customer accounts
• Managing credit limits and liaising with external credit insurers
• Contacting customers regarding overdue payments and resolving disputes
• Populating and forecasting daily cashflow
• Supporting the month-end close for debtors
• Producing reports on AR activity and aging

The Person

• 5+ years in accounts receivable roles
• Proven experience managing a high-volume customer ledger
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of debtor management software is advantageous
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset with strong ethical standards
• Available from 14th July 2025, for a 10 month period
