Our workload is continually growing and we are looking for Team Leaders to join our Landscape Maintenance unit.
We are specialists in weed control, landscaping and waterway maintenance, natural area management and turf services. Our Landscape Maintenance team services large areas across Logan and Redland and surrounds.
We are looking for experienced Team Leaders who are fit and motivated, with a positive attitude to join our team. Our Team Leaders are hands on, working alongside Team Members.
What duties can you expect to carry out?
Hands on parks & garden maintenance
Centre medians and roadside garden maintenance
Commercial scale mulching and plantings
Some landscape construction work
Leading small teams
What will you need?
Cert III in Horticulture/Parks & Gardens or equivalent
Solid experience in landscape maintenance in a commercial environment
Strong experience in weed control by herbicide and manual methods
Experience leading small teams
White Card
Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle to get to base in Stapylton
Communication and time management skills
Be willing and able to follow instructions, including complying with written procedures.
It would be great if you have the following, but not essential:
ACDC licence
Level 2 Traffic Management
MR/HR licence
Chainsaw ticket
Job security for our team members is important to us, so these are full time permanent roles with all leave entitlements and RDO hours. Uniforms and PPE will be provided. Onsite gym, personal trainer and annual skin checks provided.
Austspray Environmental is a smoke free workplace (even on breaks), and we carry out pre-employment and random drug testing. We start and finish our days at our base in Stapylton, then travel to site in our company vehicles.
We are keen to meet with committed, punctual and hard-working staff who have a great attitude and potentially grow within our busy team.
Please note, this role is not suited to candidates on working holiday visa.

Austspray Environmental are weed control, landscaping and natural area management specialists who work in any regional ecosystem within South East Queensland and Northern New South Wales, undertaking areas such as landscape maintenance, weed control and bush regeneration.
Our landscaping maintenance, weed control, natural area restoration and waterway weed control services are provided to numerous locations in the area, such as the Gold Coast, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Ipswich, Redland City, Logan City and Northern New South Wales. We provide an extensive array of weed control, landscaping and natural area management services to Councils, Government Agencies and a range of private customers.
These areas require a talented and experienced team of landscaping and natural area specialists to carry out the work. The natural areas work requires a comprehensive understanding of natural systems – our natural areas team is highly regarded in the industry, we are known for our ability to take on large scale complex landscaping and natural area restoration projects that require best practice bush regeneration methodology.
Our Landscape Maintenance team is made up of qualified, hard working, results driven people who have been with the organisation for several years. This team was recently audited by Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and was described as leading the way in the industry in setting new standards in both quality and safety on the job.
Our Cliff Face weed control team travels all over Australia treating coastal headlands and gorges for declared and environmental weeds
