Michael Page are recruiting a Contract Administrator position for a well established commercial builder on the north side of Brisbane. Projects range in value from $1-20m and include both new build and large scale refurbishment projects.

Client Details

Our client is a stable Tier 2 commercial head contractor who deliver projects including commercial buildings, hospitality venues, industrial warehouses and more. Most projects are in the range of $1-20m in value. Over the years they have won numerous industry accolades for the quality of their projects and their project delivery team is made up of long term, mature professionals. Due to a very strong forward work book, a strong financial position and internal growth they are looking to add a Contract Administrator to their commercial team.

Description

Key responsibilities will include:

• Writing scopes of works
• Negotiating and letting sub-contracts
• Involvement with monthly cost reports
• Variations

Profile

Selection criteria will include:

• Proven track record in a similar role delivering building and construction projects
• High level of computer literacy
• Experience with modern construction software systems e.g. Jobpac, Cheops, Procore, etc.
• Excellent interpersonal skills

• A competitive salary, expected to be in the range of $130-150k + super
