An exciting Permant Fulltime opportunity for a Dental Assistant to work alongside a supportive clinical team.

About the Role
As a Dental Assistant at Grampians Health, you will be an integral part of a collaborative, team-based approach to dental care. In this role, you will support both our patients and the dental team, ensuring a positive and efficient experience for all. We've built a work environment that fosters enthusiasm and teamwork, where you'll make a meaningful impact on our patients' experiences and outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with patients by delivering exceptional customer service
• Prepare patients and treatment rooms for dental procedures
• Provide quality chairside assistance to Dentists during treatments
• Ensure proper sterilization of instruments and uphold infection control standards
• Maintain infection control procedures to ensure a safe and clean environment
• Manage patient care from check-in to the surgery, including recall management

Skills & Experience

• Certificate III in Dental Assisting is desirable, or a willingness to obtain/currently studying.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and the team
• Flexibility to work across multiple locations, including community projects and the main campus
• Valid Driver's Licence with a willingness to travel
• Passionate about providing outstanding patient care and customer service
• Highly organised with attention to detail and the ability to multitask
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Ability to build rapport with patients in a friendly, approachable manner
