We are seeking an enthusiastic Light Vehicle Mechanic to join our team and trade upgrade to a Mobile Plant Mechanic. This full-time Apprenticeship role will provide you with the opportunity to gain firsthand experience in the mining industry.

Key responsibilities

Assist experienced Mechanical Fitters in the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of drill rigs and other heavy equipment.

Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, ensuring equipment is functioning properly.

Perform a variety of mechanical tasks such as disassembling, inspecting, repairing, and reassembling machinery.

Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe work environment.

Complete your Trade Upgrade at TAFE - Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology (Plant Mechanic)

What we are looking for

Demonstrated experience in a Light Vehicle role.

Certificate III in Light Vehicle Technology

Good problem-solving and analytical skills to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Commitment to safety and a willingness to follow all safety protocols.
