The Melbourne office is now seeking experienced MicroStation Drafters with specific expertise in rail infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Prepare detailed civil drawings using software such as MicroStation
• Develop plans, sections, elevations, and detail drawings for: Rail alignments and track layouts, Earthworks and grading, Drainage and culverts
• Ensure drawings comply with Victorian rail authority standards
• Assist in compiling drawing packages for submissions and approvals
• Maintain drawing registers and adhere to version control protocols
• Work closely with civil, structural, electrical, and signalling engineers to interpret design briefs and translate them into technical drawings.
• Incorporate markups, redlines, and revisions as directed by engineers or project managers
• Coordinate with surveyors and GIS teams to integrate data into drawings
• Produce as-built documentation by updating drawings with site-provided redline markups
• Integrate survey and geotechnical data into designs where required
• Perform self-checks and basic QA on drawings before submission
• Ensure compliance with internal and client QA procedures

What We’re Looking For:

• Demonstrated experience in rail design drafting using MicroStation
• Previous involvement in large-scale rail infrastructure projects
• Exposure to Victorian rail design standards (highly regarded)
• Strong technical acumen and ability to thrive in a consulting environment
