Every day will look a little different – from supporting recruitment and onboarding, to coordinating training activities and helping with key employee-related processes. It’s an excellent opportunity to gain broad exposure to council operations and play a hands-on role in shaping a positive and supportive workplace culture.

You’ll be part of a supportive, down-to-earth, and forward-looking team that values ideas, flexibility, and working together to get things done. We’re also on a journey of improvement, which is why we’re looking for someone who’s ready to contribute and grow with us.

About You

· Great attention to detail and ability to juggle multiple priorities

· Confidence coordinating onboarding, training, and staff programs

· Initiative, sound judgment, and a team mindset

· Solid Microsoft Office and HR system skills (Technology One a plus)

You’ll also be someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, enjoys learning, and is happy to roll up your sleeves to support a busy team.

WHAT WE OFFER YOU

· 45 hours per fortnight

· A base salary between $75,071.65 and $86,731.41 (pro-rata) will be negotiated with the preferred candidate

· 12.5% superannuation
