Key Responsibilities

Conduct speech, language, communication, and swallowing assessments using standardized tools and clinical observations.

Design and implement therapy programs targeting a range of areas such as articulation, fluency, literacy, AAC, and swallowing disorders.

Provide individualized intervention for pediatric and/or adult clients in both clinic and community settings.

Prepare clear, goal-focused reports and therapy plans aligned with NDIS goals and client priorities.

Collaborate with educators, support workers, allied health professionals, and family members to ensure consistent and effective service delivery.

Monitor and document client progress and adjust therapy goals accordingly.

Educate clients, families, and educators about communication disorders and strategies to support skill development.

Participate in clinical meetings, supervision, and continuous professional development.

Qualifications & Skills

Degree in Speech Pathology

CPSP membership (SPA)

Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Pediatric, AAC or dysphagia experience advantageous
