Opportunity for an ambitious Junior Accountant and Intermediate Accountant has come available to the marketplace to join this large CA firm in Sydney’s south. You will be a part of an organisation that provides strong training and development to fast track your knowledge and career. This CA firm works with a variety of clients including SMEs, large multi-entity groups, investments, NFPs and international subsidiaries.

Working with a Manager, you will be responsible for:

The preparation financial statements and tax returns for various SME's, high net-worth individuals, partnerships and trusts

Preparation of BAS, IAS and GST reconciliations

Preparation of FBT returns

Identifying and application of CGT and Div7a

Assist Manager with tax planning and structuring advice

Liaising with clients, the ATO and other regulatory bodies

Applicants:

Approximately 1-3 years’ experience in public practice accounting

Relevant Accounting/Commerce degree

Looking to commence CA/CPA or studying

Proficient with accounting software such as Xero and/or MYOB and Microsoft applications

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills due to the potential client facing nature of role

Ability to work towards being an advisor and identify potential solutions for client accounting and tax issues

A positive attitude and a willingness to learn

Strong commitment to ethics, quality service and client relationships
