About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on and motivated Workshop Diesel Mechanic to join our small but passionate team. You’ll work on a wide range of diesel engines and machinery, carrying out everything from routine servicing to major repairs and rebuilds.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified tradesperson or an experienced, non-qualified mechanic looking to grow with a business that values skill, attitude, and pride in workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Perform scheduled servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on trucks, posi-tracks, excavators, and other diesel equipment.
Diagnose and fault-find across engines, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
Dismantle, inspect, repair, and rebuild diesel engines and components.
Assist in workshop operations including parts management and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.
Work collaboratively with the team to maintain high service standards.
Follow all safety procedures and uphold Fleet360’s commitment to quality.
What We're Looking For
Trade-qualified Diesel Mechanic (Certificate III) is ideal — but industry-experienced mechanics without formal qualifications are also strongly encouraged to apply.
Minimum 3 years’ practical experience working on diesel engines, trucks, or heavy machinery.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Experience working on Japanese trucks, Bobcat, ASV, or Kobelco gear is highly regarded.
Ability to work independently and contribute to a positive team environment.
