Retail Security Officer – Cleveland Central Shopping Centre – Permanent Part-Time & Consistent Hours

We’re seeking an experienced and professional Security Officer to join our team at Cleveland Central Shopping Centre. This is a permanent part-time role offering 25–35+ hours per week, with a stable roster including weekend shifts.

About the Role:

Provide a visible and professional presence throughout the centre

Engage confidently with retailers, customers, and the public

Respond to incidents, including first aid situations and youth-related disturbances

Consistent shifts with a supportive team

Paid under the Level 3 Security Services Industry Award (SSIA)

About You

Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills

Physically fit and able to perform regular foot patrols

Calm under pressure and professional in presentation

Previous retail security experience preferred, but not essential

Must have own transport due to limited public transport in the area

Requirements

Current QLD Certificate II in Security Operations

Current First Aid & CPR certification

Availability for day, afternoon, and weekend shifts

Candidates Based in Cleveland, Logan, or South Brisbane (approx. 30 mins from site).
