The opportunity

As an Advertising Sales Representative for Caravanning Australia magazine, you will play a vital role in generating advertising revenue for this niche consumer publication. Working on a contract basis, this role is perfect for a driven sales professional with experience in the automotive or camping/caravanning sectors.

Key responsibilities

Proactively prospecting and contacting potential advertisers to secure new business

Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to ensure ongoing advertising bookings

Understanding the advertising needs of the caravanning and camping industry to provide tailored solutions

Preparing and presenting compelling sales proposals to clients

Coordinating with the editorial team to ensure client campaigns are executed successfully

Achieving and exceeding monthly and quarterly sales targets

What we're looking for

At least 3 years' experience in advertising sales, preferably within the automotive, leisure or consumer magazine sectors

A proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales targets

Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients

In-depth understanding of the caravanning, camping and automotive industries

Highly organised with strong attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

What we offer

As a contract Advertising Sales Representative for Caravanning Australia magazine, you will have the flexibility to work remotely (even while on the road). We offer competitive sales commission structures, including bonuses, and the opportunity to be part of a dynamic, growing brand within the leisure vehicle industry.

Commission structure: 25% standard

Edition bonus: Up to 5%

Annual bonus: Up to 5%

Maximum commission = 35% on advertising sales.
