Our client plays a crucial role in keeping the power on for millions of Australians, their network forms the backbone of the electricity system across the country.

They are looking for an Experienced Manager or Senior Manager responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining controls to safeguard their people, assets and operations against a range of risks — from emergencies and disasters to cyber and physical security events.

This role requires a strategic, forward-thinking approach combined with a hands-on ability to respond under pressure. You will be reporting directly to the Head of Risk.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement and maintain Groups Resilience Framework.

Provide expert guidance to business leaders to help them identify, manage & respond to risks.

Lead and facilitate crisis and incident responses alongside relevant stakeholders.

Prepare reports, briefings and recommendations to keep stakeholders informed.

Lead a culture of preparedness by mentoring and developing internal capabilities.

About you

10+ years’ experience in risk, resiliency, BCM or crisis management.

Experience developing and implementing enterprise-wide resiliency programs.

Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills plus ability to convey complex info simply and decisively.

Strategic thinking and adaptability, able to balance short-term responses with long-term goals.

Collaborative, team-oriented approach, able to empower and develop stakeholders across the business.
