Therapist Position
We are excited to offer this salary-based position at Peach Speech Pathology & Allied Health Services. We have a position available for a Speech Pathologist - full or part-time available.
About Peach Speech Pathology & Allied Health
1&3/62 Coolbellup Avenue, Coolbellup.
Peach Speech Pathology is a close-knit private practice located in Coolbellup. We have been operating for 10 years, and currently have a team of 13 Therapists, with Therapy Assistants and a full time Administration team. We primarily support clients from early years through to young adults. We support a range of privately and NDIS-funded families.
We are a clinic-based practice. This means that Therapists have their own dedicated room or space to work from each day. Therapists are close to their colleagues for support and connection. We have a sensory gym onsite, supporting those clients that need extra space and movement (or Therapists that enjoy a calming swing between clients). With our extensive resource library, the resources you need are at your fingertips (rather than stored in your car boot). We have a dedicated lunch room where the team connects over lunch each day - with a full kitchen for preparing/storing your lunch.
Our Therapists describe Peach as a genuine, friendly and supportive team.
At Peach, our overarching values are Wellness and Excellence, which are embedded into everything we do.
Wellness is promoted by ensuring our Therapists are well supported, including:
individualised and achievable targets, with an initial progression that gives new Therapists time to establish themselves in the clinic and get their heads around each client. There is a flexible speed of target progression building into the health and personal goals of the Therapist. Targets are also reduced to 80% over all school holidays and the first week of term one.
Flexible start and finish times are available to suit the individual Therapist’s life and goals.
Regular support meetings with an experienced Speech Therapists, weekly team times and ad-hoc support. Our team is often found in the hallways chatting with and supporting each other.
Flexible client allocation, ensuring that the clients assigned to each Therapist aligns with their skills and experience.
Free, regular in-house professional learning. Therapists also receive an additional 1 week (FTE) professional learning leave, allowing them to access professional learning while maintaining their income.
Our full-time administrative team supports daily operations and client bookings, relieving the administration load from Therapists.
The Peach team enjoys meeting regularly for dinners, social engagements, professional learning, and discussions. We recently participated in our first Peach Retreat by the Beach, which was a great way to relax and have fun together. Peach not only offers an excellent service, it really is a great place to work.
The Position
We have positions available that can be tailored to the skills, experience, and goals of the successful applicant.
We welcome new graduates and early-career Speech Pathologists to apply. Join a team that will support and care for you as you begin your therapy career.
