About the role

Ascend Health Group Ltd Pty' is seeking an experienced Speech Pathologist to join our dedicated team in Perth, Western Australia. This is a full-time position, with the successful candidate expected to visit 3 NDIS participants a day (equating to 4.5 billables), and help to coach and manage a small team of allied health students working as community support workers. You will play a vital role in providing comprehensive and high-quality speech therapy services to both paediatric and community clients.

What you'll be doing

Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualised treatment plans for clients with a range of communication and swallowing needs

Develop your leadership and training skills by coaching our university student support workers

Deliver evidence-based speech therapy interventions to help clients achieve their goals

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including other healthcare professionals, to provide holistic care

Document all client interactions and maintain accurate records in accordance with professional standards

Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with the latest practices in speech pathology

Contribute to the growth and development of the Ascend Health Group's speech therapy services

What we're looking for

Degree or postgraduate qualification in Speech Pathology

Current registration Speech Pathology Australia (SPA)

Minimum of 1 years' experience as a Speech Pathologist, with exposure to both paediatric and community settings

Strong clinical skills in assessment, diagnosis, and the delivery of evidence-based speech therapy interventions

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams

Demonstrated time management skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively

Proficiency in using electronic client management systems
