Australian Meat Group has a new beef abattoir in Cootamundra NSW. This state-of-the-art plant is looking for an additional team member for our night shift cattle receival.

The role's duties include:

Working a night shift five days a week, including some weekend work;

Receival of cattle from trucks;

Penning and counting cattle;

Ensuring receival receipts are accurate;

Hosing cattle pens; and

Working with cattle buyers and admin team.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

Ability to work independently;

Ability to read and write;

Capacity to understand livestock receival documentation including NVDs, company documentation, etc.;

Previous experience working with livestock in a professional capacity;

Awareness of Animal Welfare and willingness to obtain a certification in Animal Welfare; and

Ability to work weekends and late nights.
