Care is provided across various programs, including home-based family daycare and out-of-home care, as well as centre-based long day care and outside-school-hours care.

The Role
We are recruiting for a self-motivated Team Coordinator and Supervised Contact Facilitator to work with our team of Out of Home carers, children, and families located in Darwin and Palmerston.
We are looking for a team player who exemplifies Kentish's values and mission, always exercising professionalism, discretion, and diplomacy.
Tasks & responsibilities
Assist, encourage, monitor and support carers working in the Kentish out-of-home care program.
Ensure compliance of carers including currency of first aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis certification, public liability insurance and clear police check.
Conduct regular home visits and document and report on visits.
Ensure all incidents involving a child’s health and well-being are being appropriately reported.
Monitor each child’s well-being and progress, while assisting carers with the implementation of development programs and providing advice on resources.
Provide support and advice to carers regarding behavioural, health and development issues.
Provide support to carers in their ongoing professional development and training.
Liaise with the Department of Children and Families Case Managers and Kentish Management regarding progress or issues at placement.
Ensure children are connected to their culture and language.
Facilitate supervised contact between children and their families with a high level of report writing and documentation.
To be considered for the role, the incumbent will have:
Diploma qualification in community services, social work, or early childhood education and care.
Ochre Card
National Police Clearance
Asthma and Anaphylaxis management training.
NT Driver’s License
At least three years of experience in the early childhood or child protection sector.
