About the role

We are looking for a speech pathologist to join our team on a part-time or full-time basis.

We are looking for someone to join us 3-5 days per week (0.6-1.0FTE). This role is ideal for someone with a special interest in working with children, and wanting to work with neurodivergent clients.

You will be taking over an existing caseload, with handover and transition period available depending on start date.

Talk Read Grow is a family run business dedicated to using evidence-based therapy approaches to help our clients achieve their functional communication goals. We value play-based support & having fun with our clients. The practice is owned and operated by a speech pathologist and our friendly and supportive team consists of speech pathologists, a music therapist, and allied health assistants. We work with children aged 2-12 years and their families. Our offices are located in Sunnybank Hills, on the southside of Brisbane.

Qualifications & experience

A degree in speech pathology. Eligibility for certified practising membership of Speech Pathology Australia and a Medicare Provider number essential.

Blue card / working with children check

Current police check

Minimum 1 year clinical experience required

Drivers license & own reliable vehicle

Tasks & responsibilities

Provide high quality, evidence-based speech pathology services to children aged 2-12 and their families or carers

Use your great communication skills to build excellent working relationships

Maintain clinical records using our simple practice management software

Prepare high quality reports as required, following assessment, or a therapy block

Talk with other members of a client's support team, to optimise outcomes

Keep learning! Participate in regular supervision and professional learning
