Salary - $110,000 p.a.
Super - $12,650 p.a.
Remuneration - $122,650 p.a.
Value - Vehicle, Fuel, Phone, Laptop - $25,000 p.a.
Total Package - $147,650.00 p.a.
5 Weeks Annual Leave per year.

About the role:
We are looking for a mature, well-rounded Heavy Vehicle & Plant Mechanic with experience with trucks, plant & machinery, electrical and hydraulics to join our company of committed, team-spirited people.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the workshop and keeping our fleet of vehicles and plant ready for use. Duties will include but not be limited to scheduling, repair, service and maintenance of our plant, equipment and vehicle fleet.
Essential Requirements:
• Heavy vehicle repair licence - relevant trade qualification.
• Heavy rigid (HR) license.
• Excellent diagnostic skills.
• Leadership ability.
• Own tools.
Responsibilities:
• Service & maintenance scheduling
• Management of safety, quality and environmental control
• Diagnosing problems
• Servicing of plant, vehicles & equipment
• Repair & maintenance of plant, vehicles & equipment
• Modifying equipment when needed
• Organisation of external contractors for specialised repairs
• Completion of up-to-date records & reports
• Preparing plant & vehicles for registration
• Driving heavy vehicles to inspection stations
• Attend to breakdowns or onsite call-outs
• Ordering and collection of parts
• Replenishment of workshop stock
• Receival of deliveries
• Management of other personnel in the workshop
• Keeping workshop & related areas clean & tidy
Skills required:
• Previous experience with heavy vehicles and civil plant
• Project management
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Physically fit
• Self-motivated
• Reliable and punctual
• Sound understanding of computer applications
• Availability to travel around the Greater Hunter & surrounding area as required
