ABOUT OUR CLIENT

Our client is Australia’s second-largest aluminium smelter, located approximately 20 kilometres southeast of Gladstone at Boyne Island on the Central Queensland coast. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The successful candidates will be responsible for completing electrical breakdown maintenance on plant and equipment, including:

Working on CTA’s cranes (Cell Tending Assemblies)

Maintaining and troubleshooting PLCs, drives, and motors

Isolating equipment and performing function checks

Diagnosing pneumatic systems and resolving issues

Ensuring compliance with safety and operational standards

Performing additional electrical maintenance duties as required

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

Trade Qualification – Electrical

Demonstrated experience with fixed plant and crane systems

PLC programming experience (essential)

Ability to pass a pre-employment Yellow Site Medical

Current Driver’s Licence and reliable transport

Full Australian working rights
