GTM Autohaus is a newly established prestige used car dealership, mechanical workshop, and detailing centre located in Altona North. We specialise in Prestige, European, Japanese, and ADM vehicles, offering a complete automotive solution—from vehicle sales to servicing & detailing.

We are currently seeking a qualified / experienced Light Vehicle Mechanic or Workshop Manager to join our growing team. This is a rare opportunity to help shape and grow with a business that combines vehicle sales, high-quality mechanical servicing, and vehicle presentation.

About the Role

Standard full-time hours with flexible start times

Overtime and weekend work available

Alternative hours negotiable based on your preferences and experience

You’ll be working primarily on Prestige / European vehicles, performing:

Diagnostics, routine servicing, and light to medium mechanical repairs

Vehicle presentation and preparation for sale

General workshop operations and team collaboration

This role also offers a clear pathway into a Workshop Manager position for the right candidate. If you’re an experienced mechanic ready to take on more responsibility, we’re ready to support you.

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for a skilled, motivated technician who:

Has 5+ years' experience working on European, Japanese, or Australian passenger vehicles

Can work independently, efficiently, and with pride in their work

Brings hands-on experience with a variety of brands

Is reliable, well-organised, and shows initiative in a workshop environment

Demonstrates strong communication, problem-solving ability, and a positive team attitude

Essential Requirements

Qualified Motor Mechanic (Certificate III or equivalent)

5+ years’ experience in a professional workshop

Full set of personal tools / (some workshop tools are available)

Victorian Driver’s Licence / Manual drivers license

Strong English communication and computer skills

Ability to follow repair instructions and work independently

Tools & Systems Provided

You'll work with:

Autel, VAG, VCDS, and a variety of OEM scan tools

Access to OEM technical documentation for all major European brands
