Develop and Lead Surgical Services in the Big Rivers Region, NT

Katherine Hospital is seeking a skilled clinician with advanced surgical and emergency medicine skills to join our team in delivering high-quality care to our diverse community. This is a unique opportunity to combine clinical leadership for this emerging service, with hands-on practice in a vibrant, remote setting.

What's on Offer?

Base Salary (RG1-SRG3): $213,380 - $270,033

Professional Development: $22,251

Remote Attraction Allowance: $29,670

Practitioner Allowance (30% of base): $64,014 - $81,010

Retention Bonus (after 12 months): $37,087

6 weeks annual leave, plus study leave

superannuation, relocation support

50% M/C billings (for ED or community GP work)

Your Role

Clinical & Non-Clinical Leadership

Acute and elective surgery sessions

Pre-op and post op surgical care

Working with visiting surgical specialists

Rostered in ED and/or community GP

Education and supervision of RG trainees

Non-Clinical Responsibilities include managing waiting list, theatre scheduling, clinical governance and policy development
