We're seeking an enthusiastic Health Club Instructor – Kids Programs to join our dynamic LeisureFit team. This casual role focuses on delivering fun, safe and motivating fitness classes for young individuals up to 18 years old.
Location: LeisureFit Booragoon
Salary: $39.18 - $58.77 per hour + 11.5% super
Employment Type: Casual
About the Role:
As a Health Club Instructor – Kids Programs, you'll:
Design and deliver age-appropriate fitness programs and classes
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on youth fitness initiatives including triathlon programs
Assist in marketing efforts to showcase programs on the City's social media platforms
Handle administrative duties related to fitness programs
Monitor and report on safety standards and equipment maintenance
Implement First Aid and CPR as required
Contribute to the continuous improvement of fitness programs
Promote safe and active participation in LeisureFit facilities
Uphold a culture of safety, health and quality within the organization
What You'll Need:
Essential:
Current Applied First Aid and CPR certifications
Valid Working with Children Check
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
Strong customer service orientation
Effective organizational and time management abilities
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
Desirable:
Certificate III and/or IV in Fitness or equivalent tertiary qualifications
Experience in conducting fitness classes and developing personal fitness programs
Background in coaching or teaching children
Familiarity with safe operation of fitness equipment
Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety standards
