Your Role
The Transport Driver is primarily responsible for transporting client’s to and from medical appointments, collecting prescriptions for patients with mobility issues and completing the necessary reporting requirements for each transport service provided.
To be efficient and effective in this position the Transport Driver will need to be able to work well as part of a team and have a genuine interest in improving the health and well being of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People across the Mallee Region.
To meet the individual needs of clients Transport Driver’s may be required to work flexible hours at times
Key Selection Criteria
Demonstrated client-focused approach in service provisions with ability to use initiative and develop innovative solutions.
Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment and demonstrate skill in managing time, organising own workload and attention to detail.
Experience and ability in communicating, consulting, liaising, and negotiating with a broad range of people both Aboriginal and Non-Aboriginal, at all levels to achieve program objectives and goals.
Demonstrated ability to drive an automatic and manual vehicle in a safe and responsible manner with an impeccable driving history record.
High level of written, verbal and computer skills.
Qualification/s:
Certificate II in First Aid
Other Screening Requirements:
Valid Drivers License that allows you to drive in Australia.
Victorian Employee Working with Children Check card.
National Police Check.
