MacKillop Catholic College is seeking applications from passionate and dedicated professionals to join our Inclusion Support Team. You will collaborate with teachers and staff showing initiative to support students with additional needs within the classroom.

All candidates need to be able to use Microsoft packages including Word; Excel; Outlook; and must be able to quickly learn other school-based computer packages. Previous experience within a school would be advantageous.

The successful candidate must have cultural awareness and be able to communicate appropriately, both verbally and non-verbally, with students and staff of all ethnic backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide support to students in a classroom setting

Collaborate with teachers and support staff

Foster positive and inclusive relationships within the school community

Highly Desirable:

Certificate III or IV in Education Support

Science of Reading knowledge desirable

Knowledge or previous experience working with students with additional needs

Classroom experience

About the position:

Position commencing immediately.

30 hrs per week

Must have a current Working with Children clearance.
