The Pilbara is a rewarding region to work in and offers opportunities for personal and career development for those that have the interest and desire to work within environmental management. The nature of work in the region is wide and varied and covers the Nature Conservation, Parks and Visitor Services and Environmental Regulation areas. For most employees the management of fire is also a component of their jobs, particularly during summer.

We currently have an opportunity for a Senior Ranger (Marine) to join our team.

Under the direction of the Marine Program Coordinator, you will undertake and lead annual works programs and day-to-day operations within departmental marine conservation reserves, coastal and island reserves in the Pilbara Region (excluding Exmouth District), including:

At DBCA, we have adopted Leadership Expectations which provides a common understanding of the mindsets and expected behaviours required of all our employees and the public sector. In this role, you will be Leading Others to help drive positive change.
