WMA Scaffolding is seeking a Warehouse Labourer to assist with the efficient and safe handling, preparation, maintenance, and storage of scaffolding materials within the warehouse. The role supports scaffold yard operations, including loading/unloading trucks, inventory control, and preparing equipment for delivery to job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

Load and unload scaffolding materials from trucks using manual handling or forklifts (if licensed).

Clean, inspect, and maintain scaffold components for quality and safety.

Assist with sorting, stacking, and organizing equipment in the warehouse and yard.

Pick and pack scaffold orders according to job sheets.

Report damaged or missing equipment to supervisors promptly.

Ensure the yard and warehouse are clean, tidy, and compliant with safety standards.

Assist scaffolders in preparing gear for site jobs as required.

Follow company safety procedures, including wearing correct PPE.

Operate machinery/equipment if trained and authorized (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).

Participate in stocktakes and inventory audits.

Comply with all workplace health and safety (WHS) policies.

Key Skills & Requirements:

Physically fit and able to lift heavy items safely.

A strong work ethic and a willingness to learn.

Forklift licence (desirable but not essential).

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Reliable and punctual.

Able to follow instructions and work independently when required.
