About the role

Bakers Transport is looking for an experienced MC Truck Driver to join our team in Rockhampton, Queensland. As a casual role, this position provides the opportunity to be a part of our successful, growing transport company.

What you'll be doing

Safely operate large semi-trailers, Scrap tippers and B-double vehicles to transport goods across regional Queensland

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are roadworthy

Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and distances travelled

Deliver goods to customers on time and in excellent condition

Comply with all relevant road transport regulations and company policies

What we're looking for

Valid MC (Multi-Combination) driver's licence

Demonstrated experience operating semi-trailers and B-double vehicles

Excellent driving skills and knowledge of road rules and safety practices

Strong customer service orientation and communication skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Commitment to working safely and maintaining high standards of vehicle maintenance
