Maintenance Fitter – Chemical Manufacturing

About the Role:
We’re seeking a hands-on Maintenance Fitter to join our team at a leading chemical manufacturing site. This is a solo fitter role, ideal for someone who thrives on autonomy and variety in their day.

You’ll be the go-to person for all mechanical maintenance, working closely with contractor electricians and reporting directly to the Operations Manager.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Reactive maintenance and replacement of pumps
• Welding and grinding (MIG/TIG)
• Working with pipes, valves, and mechanical systems
• Collaborating with external contractors
• Using software tools to log and manage maintenance tasks

What We’re Looking For:

• Trade-qualified Fitter/Boilermaker
• Strong welding and fabrication skills
• Confident with MIG/TIG and mechanical repairs
• Software-savvy – comfortable with maintenance systems
• Positive, can-do attitude – attitude is everything
• Able to work independently and take initiative
