The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Excavator Operator to join our civil team. You’ll be working on Sydney Water infrastructure projects, including water, sewer, and drainage installations. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who takes pride in operating efficiently and safely while supporting the wider crew.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate excavators from 5 to 25 ton in accordance with site and safety requirements

Perform trenching, backfilling, pipe laying support and detailed excavation.

Assist in site set-up, spotting, and general civil works as needed

Work collaboratively with crews, supervisors, and clients on Sydney Water jobs

What We’re Looking For:

VOC for Excavation and relevant civil experience (preferably with Sydney Water work)

Experience working around live services

Sound knowledge of WHS practices and ability to follow site procedures

MR truck licence minimum required. (HR/HC advantageous)

Reliable, team-oriented and committed to quality results

Willingness to take responsibility for the care and upkeep of equipment
