A Landscape & Building Supplies business in the very heart of the Logan, servicing Retail & Trade Customers.

We are seeking an experienced and proactive, 2IC to join our team, as we transform this long-established business into a thriving modern Hub!

Responsibilities within the role will be:

• Greet and serve all customers on arrival
• Ensure the yard is well stocked and kept neat and tidy at all times
• Oversee the accurate processing of sales and orders
• Load & unload trucks and trailers and move them on in a safe and efficient manner.
• Logisitics management for deliveries in & out, across multiple vehicle types.
• Liase with Owners of the business directly as well as Suppliers.

The successful candidate will:

• Have previous experience in a similar role.
• Experienced in operating a Loader, forklift & Tip Truck with relevant licences.
• Needs to be physically fit as this role includes lifting. I.e Cement Bags 20kgs, Pots/Statues etc
• Effective communication and excellent interpersonal skills (both written and oral)
• Competent in numeric calculations and cash handling
• Demonstrate initiative and self-motivation
• Be punctual and reliable
• Be a team player
