About the role

We are seeking a Grounds/Maintenance Assistant Manager to join our team. We have a full time maintenance assistant manager. This position will be primarily grounds works but will also include maintenance and project work when necessary. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for maintaining the beautiful grounds and facilities of our popular coastal park but also assisting with any maintenance works when required.

You must have a current drivers licence.

What you'll be doing

The maintenance and upkeep of the park's grounds, gardens, roads, BBQ area and walkways.

Ensuring the park's facilities and amenities are well-maintained and presentable at all times

Monitoring and ordering supplies and equipment as needed

Identifying and addressing any maintenance issues promptly

Assisting with special building projects.

Providing exceptional customer service to park guests

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a similar grounds keeping and maintenance role.

Strong organisational and time management skills. Must be able to plan your weeks work and provide that plan to the manager.

GOOD communication.

Problem-solving and decision-making skills

Knowledge of landscaping, horticulture, and basic construction/repair methods

Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
