Brighter Futures Allied Health: Working with you towards a Brighter Future
Are you an experienced OT who is ready to take on the next step in your career? If so, this role may be for you!
At Brighter Futures Allied Health, we are driven by our clear mission: to work alongside families, empowering individuals to reach their full potential through collaborative and compassionate allied health services. We believe in growing brighter futures—together.
Our established team of Speech Pathologists and Allied Health Assistants have been successfully working towards this mission but what we are missing is YOU! We're looking to bring on an Occupational Therapist to expand our service offerings and work with us to provide much needed services to those in our community.
We’re not just dedicated to improving the lives of our clients—we’re equally committed to enhancing the lives of our team members. That’s why Brighter Futures Allied Health is focused on offering:
Work-Life Balance: We understand the importance of flexibility and work life balance. We offer tailored schedules and work from home arrangements that allow you to thrive both at work and have space to enjoy your personal life.
Professional Development: Continuous learning and providing quality services is at the centre of what we do. You’ll have opportunities for ongoing training (including $1500/year of PD allowance), and career growth, ensuring that you’re always developing your skills and expertise.
Dedicated Spaces and Resources: Our centre includes all resources and assessments you could need to support your clients towards achieving their goals in fun and engaging ways. We even have a dedicated sensory room to allow clients regulate their sensory needs and make the most of their learning time with you.
Supervision: Recognising the significance of guidance and support, we work closely with external Occupational Therapists with 10+ years of experience who are available to provide supervision on weekly basis fostering a robust foundation for professional growth.
What We are Looking For:
An experienced paediatric OT with minimum of 2 years of experience of working with children with a disability, behaviours of concern, and/or complex needs
Strong alignment to positive, collaborative, outcome-oriented team culture, with the ability to facilitate changes and tailor coaching/feedback style according to individual needs
Supports family-centred, evidence-based practice, and the value of multi-/trans-disciplinary approach and functional goal setting
Effective communication and negotiation skills, including ability to navigate difficult conversations
Interested in progression pathways and investing in the team long term
Mandatory Qualifications:
Qualification in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
