About the role

We are seeking a friendly and highly experienced Medical Receptionist to join our team at the Montville Health Centre. This is a casual position based in Montville Qld, providing essential administrative support to our healthcare professionals and patients.

What you'll be doing

Greeting and welcoming patients in a courteous and professional manner

Scheduling and managing patient appointments

Maintaining accurate patient records and updating medical histories

Handling patient inquiries and providing information about our services

Assisting with medical billing and insurance claims processing

Performing general office duties, such as filing, photocopying and data entry

Ensuring the reception area is presentable and welcoming

What we're looking for

Previous experience in a medical reception or administrative role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong organizational and time management abilities

Proficiency with Best Practice medical software and with medical terminology

Commitment to providing high-quality customer service

Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment with flexible hours.
