About the role

Treasured Tots Early Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Educator to join our growing team in Piara Waters, WA. As a Lead Educator, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team of educators to provide exceptional early childhood education and care to our young learners.

What you'll be doing

Develop and implement high-quality educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards

Mentor and support a team of educators, fostering their professional development and ensuring a positive and collaborative work environment

Maintain strong relationships with families, communicating regularly about children's progress and involving them in the learning process

Ensure a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment that promotes the wellbeing and development of all children

Comply with all relevant childcare regulations, policies, and procedures

Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices in early childhood education

What we're looking for

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field

Minimum 3 years of experience as a Lead Educator or in a similar role in the childcare industry is ideal

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues

Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to inspire and support a team of educators

Thorough understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework and a commitment to implementing best practices in early childhood education

Current First Aid and CPR certification, as well as a Working with Children Check
