The exciting opportunity:

• Permanent part time role working three days a week
• Based out of the office in Port Kennedy, provide services in day centres and people’s homes in Perth’s Southern suburbs
• Apply your specialist knowledge to empower clients, maximise their independence and improve their sense of well-being
• Develop, implement, evaluate and adjust comprehensive, holistic and progressive care plans
• Build productive relationships and involve clients in the decision making process for their care
• Direct and support therapeutic and lifestyle programs provided by Therapy Assistants
• Deliver advice, education and training to clients and their families

About You:

• Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist with experience in home care, residential aged care or disability
• Superb interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with and engage clients and families
• Demonstrated ability conducting thorough assessments, creating individualised care plans and prescribing equipment
• Excellent time management skills; able to manage your own diary, adapt to changing priorities and work autonomously
• Eager, empathetic, passionate and committed to providing holistic care that promotes positive ageing
