About the role

At Grylls Plaster', we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Apprentice Plasterer to join our team in Narre Warren South, VIC. This is a full-time role where you will have the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals and develop the skills needed to become a skilled plasterer.

What you'll be doing

• Assisting experienced plasterers with all aspects of plastering work, including applying plaster, sanding, and finishing surfaces
• Preparing surfaces for plastering by cleaning, measuring, and cutting materials to size
• Mixing plaster and other materials according to specifications
• Cleaning and maintaining work areas and equipment
• Adhering to all safety regulations and procedures
• Participating in on-the-job training and completing apprenticeship requirements

• Strong interest and enthusiasm for the building trades industry
• Good physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of the role
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely
• Basic mathematical skills for measuring and calculating material quantities
• A keen willingness to learn and develop new skills
• The ability to work well as part of a team
