Senior Finance Business Partner - Performance Materials
Location: Melbourne | Work Type: Full Time | Hybrid: 3 days in office / 2 days WFH

The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Senior Finance Business Partner to support the Performance Materials division. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Finance Business Partnering, this pivotal role will drive financial analysis and commercial insights, directly influencing pricing, supplier negotiations, and new business initiatives. It's a mini-CFO style position offering high levels of autonomy, blending strategic analysis with hands-on financial responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial modelling, margin analysis, and commercial assessments.
- Develop pricing strategies and support supplier negotiations.
- Partner with sales, procurement, and supply chain teams to drive profitability.
- Deliver insightful performance reporting, dashboards, and KPIs.
- Evaluate external market impacts (FX, tariffs, material costs).
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Actively contribute to integration of acquisitions and strategic initiatives.
About You:
- Degree-qualified in Finance, Accounting, or Economics (CPA/CA/CFA preferred).
- 5+ years' experience in commercial finance, FP&A, or business analysis.
- Advanced Excel, Power BI, and SAP (essential).
- Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills.
- Experience in performance materials, chemicals, or specialty ingredients highly desirable.
- Resilient and adaptable in fast-paced, evolving environments.
